The aim of this study is the structural design of a luminaire standards (core document-AE and EN 1991-1-4). The study of the support structure of the building is beyond the scope of this study.
Results and conclusions
In view of the results presented, there is great difference between the results of case 1 and case 2.
- In case 1 (frontal pressure force to the fixture), the UV opal polycarbonatedeformed in the order of 10% (86.09 mm) from the overhang of symmetry, the stresses are not disproportionate and distorted does not exceed 2% (limitbehavior of the PC where it can be considered linear *)

- In case 2 (lateral pressure force and attached to a suction front), a more demanding pressure loads, makes this case is critical. The maximum deformation is 177mm, and though the stresses of 45MPa not reach thebreaking point, would produce a permanent plastic deformation. This can be seen in the figure “elementary deformation Case 2″, where after the application of wind loads, polycarbonate return to its original position (dark blue areas) and all other areas suffer a different color permanent deformation.
